WHAT WE LOVE

Community engagement is woven into our work, shaping how we give back through hands-on service, education and stewardship beyond our projects. Check out some of the volunteer efforts we’re proud to have brought to life!

OPENING THE GARDEN GATES:

THE TRAVIS COUNTY OPEN DAY GARDEN TOUR

Twistleaf was honored to serve as the volunteer Regional Ambassador for The Garden Conservancy, a non-profit dedicated to preserving and celebrating our country’s gardens and diverse gardening traditions. As part of our role, we were excited to organize the Travis County Open Day Garden Tour.

We welcomed over 1,000 attendees, who enjoyed an inspiring day exploring five unique private Austin landscapes, from an eclectic evergreen haven to a terraced retreat rich with pollinator-friendly perennials. Thanks to the gardeners and designers who opened their gates to the public, the tour highlighted local botanical havens and community connection.

BLOOMING PRAIRIe:

A FALL TOUR OF SUSTAINABLE tEXAS FLOWER FARMING

As ambassador for The Garden Conservancy, we also hosted the Austin area’s first Digging Deeper event. Led by Samantha Eberhardt and Daniel Poole of Cassiopeia Farm, our group spent the morning exploring and learning about the rewards and challenges of sustainable flower farming on their ten acres of the Blackland Prairie ecoregion, as well as their innovative efforts to grow more Central Texas native plants as cut flowers.
